Summer - I don't know what to put for the title!

My character Lorenza sat down, rather immodestly, in some random park in the blazing summer heat.

This was actually sketched out/partially lined last summer. Looking at it now I can clearly see some of the errors. I rarely color things with backgrounds so that's something I should concentrate more on. Those flowers are... no comment. lots of layer effects were used, (something I don't do so often these days) and textures were used on the wall she's sat on... I think it looks better that way, though it's lacking color saturation I think. Or maybe it's just the monitor here since I recalibrated it since finishing this.

I also need to catch up on the new manga chapters. I've only read the first 2, haha.

Touhou Project - Yuyuko Saigyouji & Yukari Yakumo

 Posting this late due to internet issues. But anyway, here's Yuyuko!

This is closer to her 'Ten Desires' appearance than 'Perfect Cherry Blossom', though she has her 'Scarlet Weather Rhapsody' palette.
The fan she's carrying has a familiar pattern too, haha.

A friend was over at the time I was drawing this and we were talking about Mario games for some reason.

And Yukari! I just finished this one today.

This looks a little too similar to her portrait in 'Perfect Cherry Blossom'... minus the random cameos of course. I thought about drawing her in her newer outfit, but since I'm drawing characters in the order of the games, I should stick to the original. *Looks at previous Touhou drawings* Oh...

Also, I would have like to draw more characters from 'Perfect Cherry Blossom'. I was thinking maybe Chen and Ran or the Prismriver Sisters. I don't want to end up drawing every character though. Maybe I'll go back to draw them one day, haha.

Next game in the series is going to be so much work. Oh, how could I possibly reach the end of this huge roster of new chara-. Wait, there was only 1 in this game...

Touhou Project - Scarlet Sisters

Mistress of the Scarlet Devil Mansion, Remilia Scarlet and her younger sister, Flandre Scarlet.

Drawn in Paint Tool SAI and Photoshop for some effects.

Now deciding on who to draw from Perfect Cherry Blossom, haha. I might come back to the characters I decide to miss after I finish characters in the latest game.

I'll also be adding some more pages to this blog, including a gallery page to make looking through pictures easier. Though this probably won't happen for a while.
