Oh no! It's another Sketch dump!
It's been a while since the last one. So once again, this one has been split, but only into two parts.
The sketches in these parts were done from April - July.

Sketch Dump 5.0

Another Sketch dump. Haven't done one of these in a long time.

I selected a bunch of sketches that I felt like sharing, even if a lot of them were terrible. There are quite a few of them, all of which are digital, since I no longer have a scanner for traditional stuff. I also decided to split it into 3 posts of around 30 sketches or so.

Anyway, expect weird, stupid and potentially NSFW stuff in these posts. (you've been warned)

Colouring this took a lot longer that I thought it would. Nonetheless, I had fun drawing it!

A year of disappointments...

All the cool kids on pixiv were doing this, so I thought I'd make one myself, haha...ha...

Going back through my older works of this year though, I noticed constant changes in style month after month. I think I focused on trying to find a style, rather than overall improvement... Still there is improvement here, I think. That, I'm happy with, but there's a lot more I have to improve on.

Also, I noticed that I've rarely drawn any original stuff since February... 

It's all 100% Touhou now... This is what it has done to me!

Bananas

I felt like drawing bananas.

Actually, a friend and I made this joke about bananas, which I don't even get anymore, so I made bananas the theme of this drawing. Oh, there might be a girl in there somewhere too...

I learned quite a lot before and whilst drawing this. Beforehand, I looked up on some tips on how to make skin look livelier and understanding colour and contrast a little more. I'm happy with how it turned out for a first try colouring like this.
 I still have a lot to learn, so I'll be painting like this a lot more from now on.

A lot of focus on drawings I'm currently working on are on colouring, contrast and lighting. I'm also working on improving anatomy (especially hands, orz), hair, which I'm getting worse at, and changing my overall style. I have a few WIPs that pretty much involve all of these to start challenging myself more.

Random dump

Just dumping some stuff of random things.
My motivation to draw has dropped so much lately, and I've been trying to tear myself away from internet land, which is causing procrastination, lol. I didn't really want to post this stuff since it's just silly/unfinished stuff, but meh, this was suppose to be a blog where I'd post everything I draw. Lately I've only been posting finished stuff...

Something that started as just a random loli, but turned out to look like a Lalafell, so I went with that, lol.
I started to shade it, but I gave up pretty quickly, haha.

Big... Glasses

With glasses that big, I'm sure she'd get a lot of attention.
You might recognise her from earlier drawings on here. I wanted to make her a mascot of sorts for this blog at one point, though so far I've mostly only drawn her when designing outfits, which she is evidently not wearing here, haha.

Another sketch dump. Thought I'd post some stuff up before I go to sleep. Why I haven't posted my finished art yet I do not know...

What better way to start a post for sketches with than some linearts!

Another Lineart of Suwako Moriya from Touhou Project. Though this one is not as sharp as the other ones since I used cheap paper. (Ran out of high quality paper! QQ)

I need to remember to correct this one before colouring it...

Pretty much posted everything up to date except the CG stuff I'm working on. PROGRESS!

 I'd like to come out with stuff like flash animations and comics in the near future. Just got to keep myself motivated and not end up scrapping them like 99.9% of my works.

Well, it was shorter than the last batch, but the idea is to post stuff more regularly, haha.

Other random news: I finally got around to getting all S ranks on Sonic Unleashed, lol. Sonic Colours is next.

Drawing isn't the only thing I procrastinate. Games too. I still have Persona 4 and Valkyria Chronicles sealed and dozens of other older games I'm inching my way through. Breezing through Mana Khemia, Persona 3 and Skies of Arcadia at the moment. I have Mana Khemia 2 as well, I've been meaning to play those for a while. Ar Tonelico 1, 2 AND 3, Tales of Symphonia (and later Tales games)... I play too many RPG's lol.

  I have a HUGE backlog of anime and manga waiting to be watched/read too...

I named this character Natsumi. She's one of the first manga/anime characters I made. I may have mentioned that in an earlier post.

Summer - I don't know what to put for the title!

My character Lorenza sat down, rather immodestly, in some random park in the blazing summer heat.

This was actually sketched out/partially lined last summer. Looking at it now I can clearly see some of the errors. I rarely color things with backgrounds so that's something I should concentrate more on. Those flowers are... no comment. lots of layer effects were used, (something I don't do so often these days) and textures were used on the wall she's sat on... I think it looks better that way, though it's lacking color saturation I think. Or maybe it's just the monitor here since I recalibrated it since finishing this.

These are selected sketches going back almost a year ago that I just thought I'd post.

 I'd like to post all my sketches here, but I'd need some kind of limit so I just chose ones I like and random/stupid stuffs.

So, let's get started.

Drew this after coming back from my trip to Agadir. It was a nice holiday, and felt good to get away since I hadn't for around 7 years before then. I guess I should have posted about that at the time. orz

 Some guy who, to me, looks like a cross between Sakata Gintoki (from Gintama) and Axel Stone (Streets of Rage/Bare Knuckle). I think I should actually post drawings of male characters more often lol. Namely my neglected male OCs. (Yes, they exist.)
