I've not posted on this blog in quite a while. I haven't really been that busy or anything, I just lacked the motivation to do so. I'll update the gallery when I feel like it. I started this back in January and worked on it little by little over the months. It's a bit rough in some areas but I felt like posting it as it is now. I'd like to do more stuff like this, but I feel so unmotivated lately. I have over 40 unfinished drawings that I've started this year and I don't feel like finishing any of them...
Painting process:
Added detail on the sketch then painted greyscale values over it:

I then put a colour overlay on a new layer, then flattened it:

More painting. Made some corrections, mainly with colour/contrast amongst other thing:

Then from there it was just a lot of cleaning up... and cheating by adding another layer because I forgot to drop a shadow under her hand... I would have added more contrast and stuff to it if I were to redo it all. I had no idea what I was doing when I started it. Actually, still have no idea what I'm doing, but I have a lot of fun mindlessly painting stuff, haha.
I'll end my rambling for now. A catchup post is probably due for other stuff I've yet to post with more silly rambling, so that's something to look forward to, I guess.
